Many people ask us why we bought in Cyprus. Well, here is our story. One Sunday morning I received a phone call from Derek (who had obviously forgotten the time difference between Cyprus and Scotland!)
'Im in Cyprus, its sunny, they speak English, drive on the right side of the road and the food is great!' I immediately felt jealous.
I then get a dig in the ribs by Yvonne as its 7.45am. 'Who is that?' she questions.
'It's Derek. He is in Cyprus, its sunny, they speak English, drive on the right side of the road and the food is great!'
'Anyway', says Derek 'I'm going to buy a place in Paphos but can't make up my mind between a beautiful luxury brand new apartment in Paphos or a stunning 3-bed villa in a cracking little town called Peyia. They both look great. What should I do?'
'Buy them both!' I said. 'Between the four of us.
And so our Cyprus adventure began. 3 years of holidays later and we are tanned, relaxed and happy as you can see from the photo. And our friends are happy too!

The prequel to the above story is that we had been in Cyprus in 2006 for a wedding. Because we had stayed in a hotel our views of the island were that it was very expensive. However, all other aspects - dining, the climate, the scenery, the history, the wine and the beer (hic) - were perfect for us so we had a yearning to go back.
If we could find an alternative accommodation type, it would be the ideal holiday destination for us.
Shortly after, on a family night out, a cousin announced he had bought a townhouse in Peyia, and that we should consider Cyprus as an investment opportunity. The pieces of our holiday jigsaw were falling into place. All we had to do was find a suitable place to call our Cypriot home
And that's where our story meets Allan & Yvonne's. Rather than choose, we now have the best of both worlds. Two great places to holiday and to share our dreams with others. We genuinely hope you give them a try and have as much enjoyment of them as we do
